Harvesting Areas can be found everywhere around the
Frostland. They are an alternative source of
Food.
Unlike Outposts, Harvesting Areas don't need to be connected to the City by a Trail or Skyway; they just need
Frostland Teams to operate them to start providing Food. Once discovered, they can be turned on and off at any point until their food is exhausted.
You can research and construct Harvester Hangars to increase the amount of
Food provided by Harvesting Areas.

Some areas may spawn multiple times on the same map. All have an upkeep cost of 5
Frostland Teams.
Decision Areas[edit | edit source]
Some Harvesting Areas require you to make a one-time choice before activating them that permanently affects their behavior.

These reindeer seem to be slowly dying away to constant storms and lack of edible fauna [sic]. They won't survive too many more years. Perhaps we should send out the hunters while we can.
