Extraction Districts are one of the types of Districts in Frostpunk 2. Must be placed on a resource deposit of one of the following : coal, materials, oil, steam, prefabs or cores. It will produce the corresponding ressource until the deposits are depleted. Then no resource remains for the Extraction District to provide, it shut downs, cancelling any effect it has on the City or neighbouring district. Expanding the Extraction District to a new deposit will reactivate it. Building adjacent to a Housing District generates Squalor in the City. Building adjacent to a Food District generates Disease in the City.
Extraction District Expansions[edit | edit source]
Extraction District can be expanded to Expanded Extraction District, providing it with additional production capabilities and extra Building slot.
